Tucson, Arizona: DakotaCom.Net, the largest independently-owned Internet Services Provider in Southern Arizona, has received the coveted 2006 Better Business Bureau of Southern Arizona's Business Ethics Award.

This award was granted in the face of stiff competition from many other companies in Southern Arizona. The criteria included:
  • High ethical standards of behavior
  • Demonstrated ethical practices
  • Long-standing history and general reputation
  • Advertising - giving buyers a true representation of what's offered
  • Peer acknowledgement/industry reputation
  • Ethics policies
  • Training programs
With this award, Dakota has joined the ranks of just 21 other firms awarded the Better Business Bureau's "Business Ethics Awards" in southern Arizona. The BBB is working closely with the Eller Business College at the University of Arizona to create Tucson as an international hub of excellence when it comes to learning, teaching, and acknowledging business ethics. The judges represented academia, the non-profit sector, and the Tucson business community in applying the criteria above.

Bill Bosmeny, President of DakotaCom.Net says "We are very pleased to be acknowledged by this distinguished award. We have labored for the past year to build the biggest and best independent internet services company in Southern Arizona - and we have now been recognized as doing it the right way - with our customers always in mind. We look forward to making even more of our planned improvements to continue to bring them the best services - now and in the future."
