Local ISP - DakotaCom.net, acquired by ultraSW.com

Tucson, Arizona Local Internet Service provider, DakotaCom.net, is purchased by ultraSW.com, combining the strengths of two local Internet Service Providers, becoming Southern Arizona's premier locally-owned ISP.

DakotaCom.net has been a leading Internet Service Provider in Southern Arizona for the past 10 years, recognized in the community, receiving many awards, most recently, 2004 Wells Fargo Copper Cactus Award for "Best Place to Work". DakotaCom.net employs 14 people, supporting over 5500 customers. "I have had many offers to purchase DakotaCom.net. However, none of them was as good a fit as the ultraSW.com is. I did not want to sell out to a national organization that would not value my employees or the community we have served and that has been so good to us. Second, I wanted to ensure that the new buyer had the technical expertise and vision to enhance DakotaCom.net's future," says Pam Crim, former President of DakotaCom.net.

Bill Bosmeny, President of ultraSW.com and new owner of DakotaCom.net, says, "I chose to acquire Dakotacom.net because, by combining the efficiencies of ultraSW.com's network with the award winning customer service, technical support, and brand awareness of DakotaCom.net, we are the premier locally owned ISP in Southern Arizona. DakotaCom.net will be the name for the combined company, and effective immediately, all sales, customer service, and technical support will be handled by the existing DakotaCom.net team.
