Background Statement: The Zen Desert Sangha is a Zen Buddhist meditation group in the lineage of Robert Aitken Roshi, and is an affiliate member of Aitken Roshi's Diamond Sangha.  Zazen, or sitting meditation, is at the core of our practice.  Please see our web page for more detailed information.  An excellent introduction to Zen practice is the book Taking the Path of Zen by Robert Aitken.  Please contact us by e-mail for information on our orientation sessions if you are new to Zen practice.  All are welcome to join us.
